Chelsea set for cash boost to help fund move for Jadon Sancho

Football returned to our television screens yesterday for the first time in two months as the German Bundesliga started again.

And although it was very weird to watch games without fans inside the stadium, it was a pretty sight to see a competitive live game of football once again.

All eyes were on Borussia Dortmund and the most talked about transfer rumour of the last few months, Jadon Sancho.

The England international started the game on the bench due to a slight injury issue, but he was introduced to the field of play in the second half.

Sancho is wanted by Chelsea, and this mornings The Sun features a story suggesting that The Blues will be boosted by a tasty cash injection this summer to help fund this move.

They say that Chelsea will receive £48.5 million from Atletico Madrid this summer, when their obligation to buy striker Alvaro Morata kicks in to play at the end of his loan deal.

It will certainly be a helpful sum of cash coming in.
