The Philippe Coutinho to Chelsea rumours have dried up over recent weeks in what was one of the main bits of transfer talk of the lock down early doors.
Many publications were reporting Chelsea’s alleged interest in the Barcelona midfielder, with there even being suggestions that the move was close, as reported by TalkSport.
Since then he has been linked with other teams, and there has been no solid confirmation that Chelsea are even interested in the former Liverpool man.
His Premier League experience could be very useful for Frank Lampard though, and a loan deal would be very low-risk.
So it is no surprise to see the rumours linking Coutinho with a move to Chelsea pop up again.
The Evening Standard write that Coutinho to Chelsea is back ON, citing Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo as their source of information.
They point towards the fact that Bayern Munich will not be keeping hold of the midfielder for next season freeing him up for a move to England.
