Chelsea could soon be playing football once again as soon as the start of next month under the Premier League’s plans to restart the league.
We have seen numerous proposals of the plans that will be put in place, with allegedly six teams against starting the season.
These clubs will be warned that it could cost them more than relegation if they do not accept the restart.
Premier League clubs will be warned at a meeting on Monday that the season not restarting at neutral venues could cost them more than relegation and they must consider the long-term consequences of voting against the proposal.

The 6 clubs apposed are the clubs at the bottom of the league fighting relegation.
Their concerns are clearly fuelled by the fact that they want to avoid relegation, nothing to do with safety.
Whilst the determination to get the season going again by others is also clearly all about personal gain.
For example, The Telegraph report that players will get coronavirus test results back quicker than key workers. It almost feels desperate.

Safety is at the very back foot of this restart, whether clubs are for or against it – it is their personal gain that is the forefront of their minds, and that doesn’t sit well with me with all that is going on.
I am not against the season restarting, but some more integrity and thought towards the general safety of the players, staff and the nation as a whole should absolutely be at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts and I don’t believe that it is.
