Marc Guehi has long been highly rated at Chelsea, especially after his international exploits with England a couple of years ago.
He showed his class time and time again at youth level, and we were all excited to see what he could do in the senior game too. Such was his talent that he was considered ready to make an impact in the Championship right away, and Swansea took him on for last season.
In the end it was a more difficult transition than many anticipated, and it wasn’t until after the restart that he really found his feet. But by the end of the season he was really flying, and it’s no surprise to hear from Swansea based reported Ian Mitchelmore that the centre-back is returning to South Wales again this season to hopefully continue this progress.

His chances of making at Chelsea still hang in the balance, but if he continues improving at this rate there’s no doubt he will be somewhere in the Premier League before too long.
