(Image): John Terry says Andreas Christensen ‘should have got up’ after Grealish foul

There was a moment in last night’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa that changed the game.

Jack Grealish fouled Andreas Christensen (and it was a foul) and the Dane stayed on the ground looking like he was in agony. Villa went on to score an equaliser from the space that Christensen would have been occupying in the penalty area.

The defender then got straight back up as soon as the goal went in and was absolutely fine.

Chelsea legend John Terry says that Christensen ‘should have got up’ straight away in a comment responding to criticism on Instagram, and I am afraid he absolutely right.

Terry would certainly not have stayed down in his playing days if he wasn’t actually injured, and he would have played to the whistle getting straight back up and defending his goal as priority when he realised the free kick was not given.

Totally different mentalities and a part of the problem.
