Done Deal: Striker departs Chelsea on permanent move

Chelsea have announced a done deal this January with a player departing Stamford Bridge.

It’s day 13 of the January transfer window and things are starting to move along at Chelsea now, with the announcement of a departure from the youth squad.

Which players could be leaving Chelsea this month? Find out here!

21-year old Charlie Brown has joined MK Dons on a permanent deal, as reported by Caught Offside and confirmed on the Chelsea website.

Brown joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2016 and was part of our Under-18s squad that won the quadruple in 2018.

He had been playing senior football on loan with Belgian second-division side Union SG, but Chelsea decided he wasn’t going to make it in their senior squad and agreed a deal to sell him to League One side MK Dons.

Brown does seem to have a decent eye for goal, and right now League One is probably about his level of potential, but he does have the ability to develop even more in the future.
