Chelsea could take advantage of Manchester United goalkeeper situation

A report today has surfaced and it may well draw the attention of the Chelsea hierarchy.

The current goalkeeping situation at the club is rather up in the air, with Edouard Mendy being the preferred number one, and Kepa Arrizabalaga’s future being uncertain.

Chelsea are serious about signing Erling Haaland this summer and will ‘go all out for him’, find out more here.

This could lead the club to look to sign another goalkeeper this summer, and Manchester United’s Dean Henderson has been on their radar previously.

The Manchester Evening News names them as an interested club again in a recent report.

They claim that the England international is likely to ask to leave Old Trafford this summer if he is not promised the number one spot moving forward, and of course David De Gea is that guy for them right now and that doesn’t look like changing.

Chelsea will surely be keeping a close eye on the situation, and Henderson’s profile is certainly one they will appreciate.

Certainly worth keeping an eye on this one.
