Yes, you did read that headline correctly, according to a report in Spain, Chelsea are interested in signing Eden Hazard.
According to an exclusive from Madrid-based website Defensa Central, Chelsea are keen on bringing Hazard back to Stamford Bridge, but only for a fee of around 40-50 million euros.

In what is probably a somewhat easy link to make right now, due to the fact that Hazard’s Madrid career is really not going as planned with a host of regular injuries stunting his time there, I guess a return to Chelsea is quite obvious to talk about.
In reality, I’m pretty sure that a move like this would never happen. Chelsea have a clear transfer strategy these days, and unfortunately that doesn’t involved spending 50 million euros on a 30-year old player, whether he is a club legend or not.
I love the fairy-tale idea of Hazard coming back to Chelsea of course, but I feel this will stay just that, a fairy-tale story!
