After Thomas Tuchel, it was Cesar Azpilicueta who stepped up to do the press conference ahead of Chelsea’s game against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this week.
The captain was asked about how the team were settling under the new manager and his tactics, and it was put to him that despite a lot of possession they weren’t scoring the goals they needed to.
“We are missing that final thing,” Azpi noted, while pointing out that it wasn’t the team’s aim to just dominate possession, it was just how the games had gone reently.
