Chelsea beat Tottenham 1-0 and looked good, although a nervy finale was inevitable after they failed to score a second despite plenty of chances.
Speaking to BT Sport after the game, manager Thomas Tuchel was delighted with his team for the most part, but did explain what more he could ask from them:
“A bit more killer instinct, a bit more aggressiveness.”
He’s right of course, but he knows there’s no need to be too critical, and he knows it. A win against Tottenham is worth a lot in itself.
You can see the Chelsea boss speaking in the clip embedded here:
"It's best if we have something to improve on and still win."
"It was a big win in an away game and I'm very happy."
"We never got too passive."
Thomas Tuchel is pleased with his side's adaptation to his tactics after a positive start to life with Chelsea 🙌
