CIES have published their list of the most valuable players in Europe, and Chelsea’s top man is pretty far down the list.
The summary included only one player from each club, and the Blues have Timo Werner down as their top man, as you can see in the image of the table embedded here:
The striker’s prolific career so far, plus his age and beefy, recently signed contract, all add up to major value on his end.
We’re surprised that Kai Havertz, who is in a similar position, but was signed for a lot more money, isn’t the nominee from Stamford Bridge. But what do we know, compared to the egg-heads at CIES?
