Thomas Tuchel’s words on Tammy Abraham paints a bleak picture for the summer

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham would have been watching on yesterday absolutely distraught with the result and performances of his Chelsea team mates, just like us fans were.

He would have been sat there thinking that he could be doing a better job than any of the Blues’ lacklustre attackers.

Do Chelsea have any more striker targets other than Erling Haaland? Find out here in my latest newsletter. Don’t forget to subscribe, all my content there is FREE!

This is not an isolated incident though, Abraham looks to be well out of favour with Thomas Tuchel, and his future at the club now looks very bleak with just two years remaining on his current contract and no sign of a renewal being agreed.

Many believed that Abraham was still injured, that was the only reason he was left out of the squad by Tuchel once again.

But no, Tuchel confirmed it was just a selection decision due to only have a certain amount of players he can name in his squad. Abraham didn’t even get the nod over Olivier Giroud, who’s contract runs out this summer.

With Chelsea reportedly targeting strikers this summer, things aren’t looking good for Abraham.
