Chelsea are just starting to cog together their transfer window machine.
The Blues have been fairly quiet so far as they have worked on player departures and possibly working on a number of potential arrivals behind the scenes.
It all started to come to boil yesterday as they look to be advanced in negotiations to sign Sevilla defender, Jules Kounde.
We were all expecting a new striker to be the most heavily worked on and perhaps first new signing to be announced, but it now appears like that could be a centre back.
But fear not, Chelsea are still likely to be looking at making ‘two more big signings’ this summer even after sealing a move for Kounde, according to Nizaar Kinsella of Goal.

Kounde is progressing well.
Zouma seems to be open to joining Sevilla despite PL clubs looking at hijacking the talks.
Chelsea have plenty left to do business for two more big signings if they pull it off as a swap. #CFC

The much talked about striker position will surely be one of those, as well as a defensive midfielder with that seemingly being high on the agenda as well.
