Chelsea reportedly looking at potential Kepa replacement on recommendation of Petr Cech

Former Chelsea goalkeeper turned board room advisory Petr Cech has allegedly spotted another goalkeeper he has recommended the club to take a look at.

Cech was the guy who scouted and recommended Edouard Mendy last summer, and we all know how that one turned out.

Now, according to a report from Deich Stube, Chelsea are looking at Werder Bremen stopper, Jiri Pavlenka.

The 29-year old is a fellow country man of Cech’s and he has been capped for Czech Republic 13 times.

He could be a great choice to come in and back up Mendy this coming season, especially with the Senegal international missing for some time at the African Cup of Nations this year.

With Kepa Arrizabalaga being rumoured to be leaving the club this summer, and Willy Caballero having left already at the end of his contract, Chelsea will need two goalkeepers, Wayne Hennessy is an option for the third choice spot.
