CM: Giroud to AC Milan is at the decisive sprint, Chelsea will get a fee

We look to finally be getting to the conclusion of the Olivier Giroud to AC Milan transfer saga.

It is a deal that has been being worked on for many months now, but after Gianluca Di Marzio reporting we are nearly there with the transfer this morning, further Italian reports are now backing that up.

Calciomercato say that Giroud to Milan is ‘here we go’, which is a popular phrase used by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano to announce deals.

They say we are at the ‘decisive sprint’ for the deal to be completed now, and they even provide some detail on the actual deal and the money involved.

The report says that Chelsea will get some kind of fee in compensation for Giroud, but it will be ‘very low’.

Giroud will collect 4 million euros per year of his 2-year contract, which is really quite something.

Let’s hope we see a conclusion very soon, for Giroud’s sake.
