Davide Zappacosta move starting to fall into place as Hakimi departs

Inter Milan are interested in a few Chelsea players, but it seems that they’re closer to Davide Zappacosta than any other.

The Italian club are about to lose Achraf Hakimi to PSG, a player who Chelsea were interested in. The Blues don’t have any hard feelings however, and will happily sell Zappacosta to the Italian side to fill that gap at right wing back.

SempreInter report that Zappa is seen as a more realistic option than Denzel Dumfries or Hector Bellerin. Chelsea are certainly keen to get him off the books and will take pretty much any offer that comes their way.

They made the right call keeping the Italian full back on loan for another year after his bad injury, and he’s certainly regained a lot of his form in a year at Genoa.

Now let’s sell him while his stock is high, and while Inter are in need of him.
