Ten scholars have signing proper terms with Chelsea ahead of the new season, including the much admired Richard Olise.
Brother of Reading star Michael, Richard has been with Chelsea since the Under 9s and looks every bit as promising as his big bro, who has been doing damage in the Championship.
Football.London reported on the full crop of scholars signing on.
Richard celebrated signing properly by holding up next season’s Chelsea shirt with a big grin and the message “happy to sign a new contract.”

This protects him from being poached by other clubs, and is the first step towards a full time pro contract, which we have no doubt he will get at some point in the near future if he continues his rapid and impressive development as a player.
