Some good news has arrived very late on Sunday evening via top transfer reporter, Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea are currently working on a number of new contracts for their current players and working on plans ahead of a new season.
One player who will be staying in the squad and fighting for his place, according to Romano via his Twitch stream last night, is Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The Chelsea winger had a bit of a tough time when Thomas Tuchel arrived last season, playing as a wing back and also as an attacker behind the striker. It seen for a rather inconsistent end to the season for him and he wasn’t really being selected.
However, Tuchel wants him to stay and he will, so says Romano, so this is great news for all involved.
