Tiemoue Bakayoko’s two former loan clubs fight over permanent deal for midfielder

Tiemoue Bakayoko doesn’t seem wanted in West London, but in Italy he’s increasingly looking like hot property.

We’ve already reported on AC Milan’s interest in the rangy midfielder, and that’s backed up by TuttoMercatoWeb today. But they add a fresh detail – the interest of Napoli in the player, with Luciano Spalletti apparently “asking” owner Aurelio De Laurentiis to sort a deal out.

Bakayoko has had a year on loan at Milan as well as at Napoli, so it’s interesting that they’re both keen on getting him back on a permanent basis.

Chelsea will likely be happy to play the two off against each other to get the best possible fee – and Bakayoko would likely be happy with a move to either if it gets him out of the endless loan cycle and into a happier situation.

We will keep a close eye on this one – but Serie A beckons for Baka it seems.
