The team news for Chelsea’s game against Malmo has been released, and Thomas Tuchel has made a few tweaks to the team which beat Brentford (just) at the weekend.
The Blues boss has rested some players, and restored some who were rested after the international break to the team.
One man who didn’t get into either side is Kai Havertz, once again on the bench tonight.
The German is having a start to this season as rocky as the start to his first campaign in England. It looked like he had made his breakthrough in the Spring, and his goal in the Champions League final was a great symbol of that. But he has since regressed, and along with a few others, has not been able to recapture his late season form from last term.
Unfortunately for him, he won’t get his chance to turn things round tonight – at least not from the start.
