Billy Gilmour went out on loan this season for one reason – to play games.
We all know how good he is – he’s good enough to play for Chelsea. He’s just not quite good enough to play 20 or more games for us, so the important thing was to get him the minutes he needs.
He’s just not getting them at Norwich though. After missing today’s lineup against Leeds, he’s not featured in a starting XI since the 18th of September.
Of course Daniel Farke is always going to do what he thinks is best for his team, but if that doesn’t include using Billy, we agree with the rapid fans on social media: Gilmour will have to go elsewhere.
On Twitter, Blues weren’t happy. At this stage, they’ve mostly made their minds up already. It’s time for Billy to move on.

Not even a Chelsea fan but I can see Billy Gilmour is class every time he plays for Scotland. Can’t believe the manager would leave him out when Norwich are playing so badly. At least the last time they went down they played attractive, albeit naive football.
