Unfortunately for Chelsea fans, there was plenty bad news on the injury front following the international break.
Tuchel confirmed that Thiago Silva would miss this weekend’s game – that was pretty obvious considering he was still playing for Brazil in the early hours this morning.
Then there’s also three other issues – Christian Pulisic is still out, Antonio Rudiger looks like he will miss the game, and Hakim Ziyech has a “headache”.
Tuchel on confirms Thiago Silva is out but Lukaku is fit to face Brentford. There's other issues though: "Toni Rudiger is injured. Christian Pulisic is injured and Hakim Ziyech is a doubt with a headache and seems he is not with the squad." #CFC

The only consolation is that Romelu Lukaku will be back after leaving Belgium duty early.
There’s enough depth in this squad to get us through the game without these players, but missing two of our first choice central defenders is an issue. Cesar Azpilicueta will have to move inside, and we could see another start for Trevoh Chalobah at the back.
Sad news for us the blues but anyway we believe in available squad to give us the three point
