He had tired players, injured players and out of form players to contend with, and he had to bring in fringe players like Trevoh Chalobah and Malang Sarr to cope, as well as keeping Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the team.
After the game he was interviewed by Sky Sports, and he hailed their performance, going into a difficult place to go and getting three points.
