Ben Chilwell looks set to miss the rest of the season now as the club opt to go down the surgery route on his ACL injury.

The left wing back has been one of Chelsea’s better performers this season becoming pinnacle in their good run of form before he became injured. But now he is not expected to be back until next season in what is horrible news for the club, the player, and the fans.
Chelsea will need to replace him, and there is a lot of noise on this already, especially the name of Lucas Digne from Everton, whom of which many sources are starting to mention as an option with the latest being reliable Italian reporter Gianluca Di Marzio. In fact, he says Chelsea are ‘in pole position’ to sign Digne now.
He confirms that Chelsea ARE considering a loan move for the 28-year old as they look to replace Chilwell.
