I believe there is a chance that either or one of Romelu Lukaku and/or Callum Hudson-Odoi feature from the start against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Blues face Villa in the historical Boxing Day fixture with the game going ahead as things stand.

With the current climate it is becoming even more difficult to predict starting Chelsea Xl’s, but this is another must win game for Chelsea so Thomas Tuchel will be forced to go as full strength as possible.
We are still missing many key players through injury and Covid-19, but Andreas Christensen also rejoined training this week after his injury.
Here is my predicted Xl vs Villa –
(3-4-1-2): Mendy: Christensen, Silva, Rudiger: James, Kante, Kovacic, Vale: Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic.
I have thrown the wildcard of Harvey Vale starting at left wing back, because he has played there a lot before and Marcos Alonso needs a break.
I think Kante starts over Jorgninho who will also be rested from the start, and Hudson-Odoi could quite possibly operate in a double 9 up top with Pulisic. I don’t think Lukaku comes in from the start personally.
