Chelsea fans who have been paying attention already knew about Levi Colwil before this season.
He’s been one of the top rated prospects from this academy class and has looked great in the youth teams. The rest of the footballing world is now catching up, as the defender shines on loan at Huddersfield in the Championship.
One person who has go to know him very well in the season so far is his centre back partner Tom Lees, who has been speaking about the 18 year old’s progress.
It’s fair to say he’s impressed.

He also noted that this was the first time the youngster was going to have to deal with a hectic festive period in the Premier League, a slight warning to Colwill about the immense physical and mental challenges of the next month or so.
On the evidence so far, he will more than be up to the task.
