Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was forced to highlight two very terrible Refereeing decisions from Mike Dean in the Premier League once again last night, two decisions that cost him dearly.
Christian Pulisic won a clear as day penalty that was not given by Dean and then even worse, overlooked by VAR somehow. Disgraceful, you cannot get any clearer penalty.

Then he wrongfully gave a foul when Mason Mount had a 50/50 and then put the ball into the net. Instead of waiting and then looking to VAR to confirm, he wrongfully blew his whistle and gave the foul, which was NEVER a foul. Again, shockingly disgraceful from Dean.
Tuchel has a right to feel aggrieved on these and has a right to speak on them, something he refrains from doing most of the time.
But these two decisions cost Chelsea three points in a vital game where they could have gone back into second spot in the Premier League.
“Honestly I would never normally say it, but we had a 100 per cent penalty against Christian Pulisic, and a 50/50 challenge from Mason Mount before their equaliser where the ball ended up in the net,” Tuchel said on the Chelsea website.
“Why does the referee need to whistle before the ball is over the line? We have VAR to check. Why can we not wait and check it? And the penalty is honestly a joke not to interfere from VAR.”
