The Premier League is almost halfway through – we’ve got to get through one more game to reach the midpoint.
How does Thomas Tuchel’s first full season compare with the years before? Pretty well. Of course it will always slightly depend on the fixtures, but once you’ve played everyone once you have a reasonable idea of how good you are.
Interestingly, it’s the best we’ve done since 2017/2018, Antonio Conte’s ill fated second season. So we should keep in mind, no matter how it goes, we’re only ever a few bad games away from a collapse.
