We had some small hopes that Ben Chilwell might be playing for Chelsea again this season, but they were dashed when the club confirmed yesterday that he had gone for surgery on his knee.
That will rule him out for the rest of the season, but the wing back is keen to keep fans’ spirits up.
He Tweeted yesterday that he was “very positive and motivated” to work “like a beast” to get back on the pitch soon.
It’s going to be a long end to the season without him, especially with Reece James now looking done for.
