Oh dear, oh dear.
Chelsea have enough on their plate now, with countless injuries, fatigue at critical levels and a hectic schedule.
This is the moment they need everyone to pull together, and instead they’ve got the opposite. Romelu Lukaku, who has been out injured and then with Covid for weeks, has just dropped an interview full of explosive quotes.
We’ve covered some of them already, and now we come to a later part of his chat where he discussed leaving Inter.
Lukaku to Sky: “There are 3 teams at top level: Barcelona, Real, Bayern. All the players dream of them, that's the truth. I thought I was going to one of those clubs after Inter".
"This didn’t happened and I said: there is only one club where I can imagine myself, it's Chelsea”. pic.twitter.com/kZwfdYl4kB

He talks about his options when leaving, and suggested that he only though he would be going to one of the three clubs at the “top level.” – Bayern, Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Once it became clear none of them wanted him, he settled for Chelsea.
We kind of get what he’s saying, but the sheer stupidity of saying it is really remarkable from someone who should know exactly how the press works at this point.

I think Lukaku left his brain behind in Italy. Maybe he should go back and see if he can find it!
