As reports of growing infections of Covid-19 in the UK come to light, the debate and situation always bubbles over to football, because as with everyone else, they too can be effected.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been speaking to the media today ahead of his sides match against Everton on Thursday evening.

Tuchel faced a couple of questions relating to Covid-19 and vaccinations, one of which was whether when the club now look at signing new players they will be checking vaccination status as well.
The German coach said that isn’t something they will be doing, because getting a vaccinations is ‘still a free choice’ and people should be able to make their own decisions on such things.
As seen below, these were his exact words in response to the question..

Chelsea have had Mateo Kovacic return a postive Covid-19 test in recent weeks but other than that have managed to stay relatively covid-free so far.
