“Tell him it’s lockdown again” – These Chelsea fans despair an another anonymous Pulisic performance

A makeshift Chelsea team, low on confidence and fluency, are playing very poorly against Wolves, and some players are getting slated more than others.

Thomas Tuchel has very few attacking options, and the same front 3 that disappointed against Everton on Thursday are disappointing again today.

Christian Pulisic is taking the brunt of the criticism, playing up front in an unfamiliar false 9 role, and so far looking as anonymous as he did against the Toffees.

Fans on social media are always looking for a scapegoat, and in the form of Pulisic they seem to have found one.

One cheeky Tweeter said that Chelsea should “tell him it’s lockdown” so he could repeat his storming form from Project Restart. If only it was that simple. There’s still a second half to play, but we’re not getting our hopes up, to be frank.
