“This is the way it should be” – Antonio Rudiger gives his opinion on Covid-19 and vaccinations

Covid-19 cases have been rising in the UK recently and of course, we are only too aware of the effect it is having in professional football lately with many games being cancelled.

Chelsea are due to play today against Wolves in the Premier League but of course, that game could also be cancelled at any moment with more reported Covid-19 cases coming through from the Chelsea camp.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

Blues defender Antonio Rudiger has been speaking to the Chelsea website regarding the situation and the vaccinations, and it is good to get a selection of views from people on this.

Rudiger believes we should all be knowing our responsibilities and being careful through this as cases rise, but he also states that everyone should have their onw choice when deciding to take a vaccine or not.

“First of all, I hope everyone knows their responsibilities and should be careful,” Rudiger said.

“It’s everybody’s own choice and this is the way it should be with getting vaccinated.

“I can only speak personally for myself. I know my role and I know my responsibilities so it’s just about taking care and I hope people stay safe. To all the NHS workers who are back now on non-stop work, I give them a lot of strength and hope for better times.”

Let’s hope that Rudiger is going to be playing for us today and that the game still goes ahead, as I’m sure a lot of people have already made the journeys to Stamford Bridge, or at least those who needed to.
