Some good news for Chelsea fans on this Monday morning, with two defenders reportedly being close to renewing their contracts at the club.
Andreas Christensen, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Thiago Silva are all in the last years of their contracts at the club and could agree pre-contracts with new clubs from next month.

Two of them though, are now being described as finally being close to renewing at Chelsea.
The first one being Thiago Silva, who has now been reliably reported to be close to agreeing his one year extension by a number of top sources, including Gianluca Di Marzio, and Fabrizio Romano.

The next positive bit of news is that his defensive partner, Andreas Christensen is also now close to agreeing his deal after sorting out a number of contractual issues.
As we remember, this was apparently close before but took a u-turn, but now Di Marzio says he will sign a new 4-year extension at Chelsea.
