Andy Townsend has been on TalkSport this week, and he’s casting doubts over Chelsea’s title credentials.
He’s right that we’ve fallen off in recent weeks, but he also has some odd criticisms. He claims that Thomas Tuchel doesn’t know his best team – well, even if he did, he wouldn’t have been able to pick it for about 3 months thanks to injuries.
Our title chase has lost a lot of momentum, that’s for sure, but we wouldn’t be as quick to write off Tuchel’s team as Townsend seems to be.
