There was a moment in the game today where Callum Hudson-Odoi tried a backheel in front of the technical area which didn’t come off, and the staff didn’t look happy.
But speaking after the game, Thomas Tuchel insisted “I was never frustrated with him.” He in fact went as far as to call his performance “brilliant,” pointing to several great things he did despite not being ready to play a full game yet.
CHO looked a real threat, and played a part in all three goals as Chelsea battled to beat a tough Aston Villa team.
