Thomas Tuchel has been pretty calm, even after bad results, but as Chelsea suffered another couple of important injuries today you could see him losing his patience.
“It’s not fair,” he said, that he was forced to throw so many players into the mix on minimal training days just because the calendar is so packed.
Romelu Lukaku had insisted that he wanted to play 90 minutes today, but Tuchel had the opposite view – he had only used the striker at all because he needed to.
We’ll hear the same on Wednesday, as he says.
