This is just sad to see.
As well as another horrible result, Chelsea have potentially lost Reece James for some time.
The wing back has left Stamford Bridge on crutches, after being taken off a quarter of the way through the game. It’s a hamstring injury, according to Thomas Tuchel who didn’t give any more detail – but it’s clearly bad enough to warrant this, which means it could be pretty bad.
We’ve got a crazy January coming up, and no senior players ready to feature. Malang Sarr against Liverpool anybody? Hm.
