Thomas Tuchel was very positive in his interview with Chelsea TV after the draw with Wolves today.
Considering the bad recent results and the external factors hurting his team, he had every right to be much more negative than he was. He pointed to the good parts of his team’s performance, perhaps realising that adding more negativity wouldn’t help a fragile group of players lacking a lot of their usual swagger.
That’s not to say he was happy – how could you be after the 6 weeks we’ve had? But he’s not making too much of it, and he clearly just wants to get through this tough period.
