Timo Werner has just given Chelsea the lead in Russia, after a slick one two between Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic.
The German striker shifted his weight nicely inside and drilled the ball under the Zenit keeper to give his team a lead they barely deserve after some pretty disastrous moments in this game so far.
Let’s hope we learn from this – and let’s hope those first team players who got a rest are feeling much, much better for it.
