Thomas Tuchel was asked about what went wrong in his side’s draw with Everton today, and he found it hard to stop himself saying that his team had been pretty unlucky.
They “conceded almost nothing” in terms of chances, but did, unfortunately, concede a goal. We get why it’s so hard to swallow, but it’s also happened for so many games in a row now. The buck has to stop somewhere. There’s bad luck involved, but there are concrete problems too.
