Chelsea requested that today’s game against Wolves be postponed after 4 consecutive days of positive Covid tests in the Blues’ camp, but their request was turned down.
Asked how he felt about that, the manager said he was “disappointed” and “a bit angry”, but ultimately it’s out of his hands now, and he was pretty realistic about the whole thing.
The more he explained the situation, the more it was hard to argue with him that the game today should have been postponed – like so many other games in the last fortnight.
You can see the manager speaking in the clip embedded here:
"We are disappointed, we are a bit angry but this doesn't make us less competitive."
