Chelsea play Everton this evening, and we’re not even 100% sure that that game will be played.
So the idea that we know whether the Africa Cup of Nations will go ahead in January is pretty far fetched, as Thomas Tuchel admitted in his press conference yesterday.
Asked how he was able to plan for it, he admitted he wasn’t and simply said “we live from day to day.”
There isn’t much planning he has to do – if Edouard Mendy is available he will pick him, if he’s not, he will pick Kepa.
