Poor Ben Chilwell has had some bad news this week – he will have to have surgery on his knee.
Still, even if he ends up never playing football again, he’s potentially still got a sporting career on his hands as a cricketer.
In a nice slice of content on the club’s Youtube, he took on a session with legendary England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, who was left stunned by the left back’s ability with a bat.
“You can properly play” the all-rounded admitted after Chilly smashed a cover drive in the nets.
We assume this was all filmed months ago, before his injury.
