Former Manchester United defender and legend Rio Ferdinand has been raving about one Chelsea player in particular this week.
The former pro turned pundit has been reviewing the games over the busy Christmas fixtures, and a certain midfielder registered to Chelsea came up in conversation.

To be honest though, everybody is raving about Conor Gallagher this season, who is really making a name for himself whilst on loan with Premier league side Crystal Palace, so it is no surprise to see these words from Rio.
However, he has connections in the game of course, and it is those close to the Gallagher situation who have been feeding back to Rio to help him form his views on Gallagher.
But there is one major thing that sticks out to Rio other than quality, as reported by The Chelsea Chronicle, and that is his winning mentality and desire, which has always been top notch.
“Listen, I love this player,” said Ferdinand.
“You can talk about ability, technique, and you can talk about stats. But when I speak to anyone that knows this kid, his attitude is the overriding factor which will determine where he goes to and how long he’ll be at the top.”
