Chelsea face Wolves at Molineux in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
Thomas Tuchel’s squad has been devastated by injury and by a wave of Covid infections, and that means some pretty funky selections – and basically nothing on the bench,
The back line is solid – we’ve got our first choice goalkeeper, Reece James and Marcos Alonso at wing back and three good defenders at the back – although the absence of Andreas Christensen confirms he’s a positive.
Trevoh Chalobah has stepped into midfield to play with the returning N’Golo Kante, while our front three is the same that played in midweek – Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic.
Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Jorginho are all out of the squad entirely, presumably after testing positive. Mateo Kovacic is fit enough for the bench.
