As we’ve seen time and again in the last 6 weeks, a tired looking Chelsea team reached the final stages of a game and then got sloppy and conceded.
Time and again we’ve looked long and hard at the defenders and the conclusion is often similar – while they’re not blameless, the onus is on the attackers to score and put the game out of reach.

He’s right, sadly. These points are being dropped because our opposition is still fighting until the very end, knowing they can still get something from the game.
Last night’s match was so open, and Mason and his teammates had chances to kill it. If they had just taken those chances, there would have been no need for the panicky defending of the final minutes.
Until our front 3 are all scoring freely, the defence is simply going to be under too much pressure.
