Thomas Tuchel is very straightforward when speaking to the media, and while he’s always rightly reluctant to give secrets away, he doesn’t hide anything he doesn’t need to.
His words today on the transfer market were a great example. He’s not going to sit there and tell you the 5 players Chelsea are looking at, but he’s also not going to pretend they’re happy to play the second half of the season with just one left back at the club. “We are looking in to the market,” he declared.
He’s not giving much away, but it sounds like something will happen before the end of the month.
