It looks like this one was tied up late last night just before the transfer window deadline closed for the summer, but Chelsea have today announced the signing of a new striker.
As confirmed by the official Twitter page of the club, Charlton Athletic striker Mason Burstow is a Blue.

The teenage striker will return to The Valley on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

He has been loaned back to Charlton right away so he can stay and finish the season with them, and then he is likely to join Chelsea’s academy in the summer.
The 18-year old is a rising star amongst youth football and he has been gaining many plaudits from those close to watching his development.
Burstow has 14 appearances and 6 goals for the Charlton senior team so far this season and will absolutely be adding more as the season goes on.
Whilst there was no big names arriving at Chelsea this window, the signing of Burstow and another 18-year old, Dylan Williams from Derby County are certainly exciting acquisitions for the future.
