Chelsea are getting ready to face Liverpool in the EFL Cup final later on, and Marcos Alonso was the player interviewed before kickoff by Sky.
It was put to him that these two sides have faced each other a lot in recent times, and that that could have an effect on the way the game played out. Alonso agreed:
“We know each other very well… it’s something we have prepared, we are ready for it now,” the Spaniard said with some steely resolve in his eyes.
It sounds like Thomas Tuchel may have something special up his sleeve.
